Hotels in Bandung

Bandung is the capital of Indonesia’s West Java province.  It is surrounded by tea plantations and volcanoes, making for a spectacular place to stay and play golf.  The city is at a high elevation making it cooler than many others in the country.

BDO Giri Gahana Golf Resort is a good place to start when playing golf in Bandung as you can stay onsite thanks to the accommodation.  The 18 hole golf course is kept in fantastic condition throughout the year and the hotel features a spa, tennis courts, table tennis and restaurant.  You could even use it as base to play the other golf courses in Bandung if you wished.

However, there are others to choose from including Mountain View Golf Club.  This course was designed by Peter Thomson and Ross Perrett and it is part of larger residential resort.  If you wanted to stay for an extended period of time or would like to rent a property when playing golf in Bandung, Mountain View Golf Club is a good choice.

Dago Endah Golf and Country Club is situated just 20 minutes from the city of Bandung and opened for play back in 1917.  This is a British style course which has expanded from 9 holes to 18 and there is a wealth of fantastic accommodation nearby.  Take your pick from the 5 star Jayakarta Bandung and Sheraton Bandung Hotel and Tower or the 4 star Silk at Dago Boutique Hotel.

If you are happy to travel a little further outside the city, the par-72, 18 hole Parahyangan Golf Bandung is a good choice.  In addition to enjoying the championship golf course, why not book a stay at the adjacent Mason Pine Hotel?  Boasting a selection of 135 rooms and suites, this hotel has a swimming pool, gym, semi-open air restaurant and water park.
