Designed by world-renowned courses architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., Santiburi Country Club is often referred to as one of the best layouts in Thailand and remains in superb condition year round.  One of the joys of playing here is that it is very rarely crowded and during the week you may be the only person on the course.  Golfers who tour Thailand on holiday often rate this courses the best they have played during their golf trip. Waterford Valley Golf Club 

One of the best things about playing golf at Waterford Valley Golf Club is the drive to the courses through the beautiful countryside as the courses is located around 40 minutes from the centre of Chiang Rai in the Wiang Chiang Rung Hills at the Southern end of the Waterford Valley.   This courses is not in the same class as its more illustrious neighbour but it is still a very playable course and its elevated location offers wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. Happy City Golf Resort 

Happy City Golf Resort is the newest golf offering in Chiang Rai and is a rather unusual design with three loops of nine holes named Mountain, Lakes and River courses. Unusual features include a windmill and a large green in the shape of Thailand.  Lots of long water carries, elevated greens and winding and undulating fairways.
