There are some great golf courses in Surabaya in East Java which is the second largest city in Indonesia and is an extremely popular destination for golfers from all over the region. There are six golf courses in Surabaya – four located in and around the city and two amazing golf courses set in the mountains.

Bukit Darmo Golf is an excellent championship golf course which was designed by Jack Nicklaus II. The course is in a very convenient location about 10 minutes from the city centre. On a clear day you can enjoy great views of the distant volcanoes from all parts of the course.

Finna Golf & Country Club Resort is an amazing championship resort golf course set in the mountains with spectacular views in every direction. The golf course was designed by Peter Thomson and Michael Wolveridge with some additional input from Ross Perret.

Golf Graha Famili & Country Club was built by Arnold Palmer and is one of the most challenging and enjoyable golf courses in Surabaya with numerous well-placed rivers and lakes waiting to trap you.

Taman Dayu Golf Club & Resort was once again voted as the best golf course in Indonesia and even if you don’t have a great round you will certainly enjoy the amazing scenery of Mount Arjuno, Mount Semeru, and Mount Welirang. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and is part of an integrated resort complex which includes a golf academy, driving Range, private houses and villas, a spa, waterpark, meeting, and banquet facilities.
