The Hakusan Village Golf Course is part of the Cocopa resort Club and boasts superb accommodation and dining options, as well as two spectacular 18-hole golf courses.
Set within the rolling Japanese countryside the Hakusan Village courses are built and maintained to championship tour standards, with both being recognised by the LPGA as one of their venues and a qualifying venue for the Japan Tour.
The first of the two courses is the Kings Course. At 7095-yards the King course is the longer of the two although arguably the slightly easier.
Generous fairways are immaculately presented, it is like playing from your living room carpet, and are bordered by native trees and pristine white sand bunkers that provide form to the holes and a strategic obstacle.
The greens are large and in general, well-protected by large distinctive bunkers.
The second course is the Queen course, similar in design to the King, the Queen course takes advantage of the undulating natural terrain creating sloping fairways and beautiful shape to the holes.
At 7018-yards the Queen course presents a more challenging route, with water much more in play than on the King course. Fairways are again sloping, and bunkers are seemingly positioned perfectly to create the maximum difficulty level they can.
A wonderful short game practice area and a large driving range complete the golfing offer at Hakusan Village Golf, which is an absolute must visit.
