Karuizawa 72 Golf East Course in Nagano, Japan is famous for once hosting the World Amateur Golf Team Championship in 2014. It is a 36-hole layout and the two courses are named as Iriyama Course and Pushing Course and they are both built using Bento grass.
It is a very challenging golf course which requires careful course management. It is generally quite flat and its main protection are the carefully placed bunkers and water hazards.
The course is usually in excellent condition but can be quite wet early in the season just after the snow has melted. Greens are fast and true.
