Golf holidays in Muscat

Muscat is a short one-hour flight from Dubai and although it does not have as many golf courses it can offer several world class golf courses, many other amazing attractions you will not find in Dubai and beautiful all year-round weather.

The pick of the golf courses is Al Mouj Golf Club which features annually on the European Tour and this event attracts some of the best golfers on the planet who are keen to explore the many golfing delights of Oman.

Muscat currently offers 3 championship 18-hole golf courses which are all within easy reach of the main tourist areas and this combined with selection of incredible hotels, many of them overlooking the crystal-clear waters and white sand beaches.

When you are not on the golf course you can explore the old city of Muscat and take time to explore the Souk which is located right in the centre of the Corniche in the old town and is a great place to visit to do some shopping and exploring. The Grand Mosque is also worth a visit to marvel at the spectacular architecture, which is comparable to the mosque in Abu Dhabi.
