The Nicklaus Course at BRG Danang provides a strong test of your golf offers a different experience from the original Norman Course, which was built on top of sand dunes beside the ocean. This course has been built in the middle of a natural flood plain and many of the holes are almost totally surrounded by the natural wetlands or run alongside the Coco River and you can get lovely views of the local villages with the city of Danang as a backdrop.
The numerous lakes and creeks bisect the course and some of the fairways and greens are only protected from flooding by the retaining walls which surround them.
Despite the proximity of the water they have made the fairways quite wide and most people should find the generous landing areas. Depending on which of the six tee boxes you choose, there are some long water carries which higher handicappers might find daunting. The longer hitters will get plenty of chance to take risks in order to reach the par 5’s in two.
All holes in the BRG Danang Golf Resort, Nicklaus Course have been floodlit so you can get in 18 holes starting late afternoon or early evening. The floodlights have bene cleverly disguised behind the many palm trees.
The large clubhouse, pro shop and driving range are shared by both Norman and Nicklaus courses.
