The PGM Sohsei Country Club is located in Narita Town, Chiba Prefecture, a short distance from Narita IC, East Kanto Expressway which takes you to Narita Airport. The course was opened in 1964. . The owner was changed to Pacific Golf Management Corporation in 2019. The course has more than 50 years of experience and many competitions have taken place, such as the "Japan Ladies Open" and the "Japan-US Women's Professional Tournament."
The course is situated in the vast area of Hokuso, and each hole is surrounded by a forest. It's quiet and relaxed. You can enjoy wonderful natural views of seasons such as pines, cedars, cherry blossoms and azaleas. There are three courses (East Course, West Course and South Course) and the green is made of Bent Grass and Korean Lawn Grass. Basically, the fairway is wide and smooth, so you can fire yourself easily. The courses were designed by Ikkai Izumi and Sadakichi Mano.
Every course has a unique design and you can play without getting tired. East of the course is 3,476 yards. Bunkers and trees are positioned across the green, making this path a strategic one. Skills such as flying distance and accuracy are necessary. The west course is 3.223 yards ahead. This has rivers, lakes, a fairway like a horse back, and an elevated green that takes advantage of the existence of the plateau of Hokuso. South of the course is 3,284 yards. The 2nd hole is popular as the green float island.
The state of the course is very good due to the high level of maintenance. The ball rolls quickly to the green. The advice of skilled caddies should help you get a good score. High-quality service will also help your comfort in golfing. You can relax in the dry, wooden clubhouse. There are spacious locker rooms, a shower, a restaurant and a coffee lounge.
