Moon Lake Golf Club Kurate Course opened for play in October 1992 and has established a great reputation in the Fukuoka region of Japan. There are 36 holes in total on the Moon Lake Golf Club Kurate Course and they have been divided into three sets of 9 holes.
For those who get nervous about playing around or over water, Moon Lake Golf Club Kurate Course is ideal as there is very little in the way of water hazards throughout the 36 holes. In fact, water only comes into play on five of the 36 holes, four of which are on the East and Center courses. The overall distance of the course does not vary greatly whichever two sets of 9 holes you decide to play.
In addition to the East and Center courses, the 3rd set of 9 holes is called the West Course. Of the three 9 hole loops, the West Course Is home to the fewest number of water hazards with just one tee shot over a pond to contend with. However, that means there are other challenges which await at Moon Lake Golf Club Kurate Course.
This includes the bunkers, which are present on the majority of fairways and around the greens. Interestingly, there are two different greens on each hole but one of the main attractions of playing at Moon Lake Golf Club Kurate Course is the flood lighting. Thanks to the lights, which are situated around the course, it is possible to play a round at Moon Lake Golf Club Kurate Course after dark.
