Ibaraki Kokusai Golf Club has a long history having been established in 1960. The golf course is located in Shukunosho, Ibaraki-shi. It is close to Osaka and makes for a comfortable day trip from the city to play golf.
The golf course at Ibaraki Kokusai Golf Club boasts 27 holes and have enjoyed a complete renovation between 2010 under 2013. A new clubhouse was constructed in the 2016 and the restaurant has a 270-degree panoramic view of Osaka City.
The golf course has been divided into 3 sets of 9 holes. They have been named East Course, West Course and North Course, with each offer something different. For example, the East Course is surrounded by forest and this makes for a different view throughout the seasons.
The West Course Is a relatively flat course but requires a strong strategic approach to score low. The North course is more elevated than the other two sets of 9 holes and offers tremendous views of Osaka from the fairway. There are 3 sets of tee boxes on each of the 27 holes with water only coming into play on a few of the holes on the East course.
Ibaraki Kokusai Golf Club is well maintained throughout the year and in addition to the excellent golf course you can enjoy the facilities in the clubhouse. This includes the restaurant which has a breakfast, lunch and evening meal menu plus the pro shop, driving range and baths.
