Osaka Golf Club was established in 1937 and is a championship course designed by Osamu Ueda. The course is renowned as being one of the most difficult courses in Japan partly because it is located beside the sea and is often affected by the prevailing winds. There are plenty of elevation changes and many of the greens have two tiers which makes putting very difficult if you get in the wrong position. Club selection on the par-3s is especially challenging when the wind blows.
