Refram has created a masterpiece, and although the lengthy drive may put some golfers off from visiting Panorama Golf and Country Club it really is worth the drive.
Its location on the edge of Khao Yai national park is reflected in the sympathetic design, making the most of the mountain valley location the course has multiple elevation changes.
Being in the natural surroundings and a fair way above sea levels means the course is blessed with cooling breezes, which can add to the challenge.
The difficulty at Panorama Golf and Country Club has been created using the natural undulations of the land, with golfers rarely facing an approach shot from a flat lie.
Additional water hazards and cleverly positioned bunkers provide the visual deterrents which will keep golfers on their toes throughout the round.
A particularly fine example of how Refram has used the land to create a spectacular hole is the short par 4, 10th which for the longer, more aggressive golfers offers the chance of getting home in one. The drive must carry one of the natural valleys and hillsides to a blind fairway, get the line right on this left hand dogleg and you will stand every chance of making a birdie.
The condition of Panorama Golf and Country club is unquestionable, always presented in near perfect condition the course is a delight to play and the putting surfaces are impeccable.
Clubhouse facilities are great, traditional in design the staff are welcoming and the service you receive will be second to none, boasting changing rooms and showers, a well-stocked professionals shop for any last minute accessories and 2 superb swimming pools, golfers will be more than happy with what Panorama Golf and Country Club has to offer.
A small terrace with panoramic views across the course and surrounding landscape is a great place to enjoy a post round drink and snack. Local restaurants offer local and international cuisines.
