Toscana Valley Country Club

We played 6 different courses in Khao Yai & this was by far the best experience we had. Putting aside the slightly cheesy Tuscan theme (leaning tower of Pisa hotel anyone?), standing on the putting green prior to tee off it was apparent that this was a great course. We loved the layout, though certainly challenging with many uphill/ downhill holes. Overall condition was fantastic with great fairways & the greens were in great condition. Very good caddies helped us enjoy this course even more. This would be out must play course on a list of recommended courses in the Khao Yai area.

We found this course difficult. Not easy for medium/high handicapper. My caddy was ok but the caddy of my friend was useless. Not knowledgeable. And bad attitude - constantly texting on cell phone. Its a good experience to see Toscana Valley but it is overpriced and would not be my choice next time in Khao Yai

Disappointing day here. Very expensive, but 1. my caddy was awful. constantly texting on her phone. Doing the minimum she had to. Not helpful. for a top course like this one they really should monitor their caddy better!! 2. construction everywhere; for example 17th hole teeing off over trucks working below and hammering noise all round. Well designed course and some beautiful views. Well maintained course. However greens were too much sand. I played Kirimaya a day before this course and it was much better. Especially caddy was much more professional. Well trained. Friendly. Toscana needs to improve caddy performance.

An absolut fantastic golfcourse near Khao Yai National Park, hilly, great scenery, best conditions of fairways and greens. A lot to see around the course, good views everywhere, interesting building like the Tower of Pisa and many interesting buildings in Italian-Toscana style..... The course is very challenging, a lot of water, I suspect; there are only 3 or 4 holes without water hazards, sometimes strokes over 160 and more meters carry. The greens medium-fast, undulating and interesting.....but well maintained and constantly good condition on every hole. I had a very good experienced caddy. What I liked, the course seems to be not overcrowded as so many courses in Thailand, most because of a training facility of bigger south-korean groups, sometimes up to 200 players per day. Losing no ball on the first nine, it changed a lot on the second nine, so take some balls with you. There is a lot of building activity with exorbitant big villas beside the course; may be it will not the same in some years any more.... In general, this is a "must play" course, in.my opinion.

The course layout is interesting and challenging, the landscape and the view is absolutely beautiful and the green is fast and tricky, very enjoyable
