Pattaya Country Club Golf Resort has recently re-opened after a lengthy closure and has been extensively renovated. Not the most exciting course in Pattaya but one of the closest to the town and ideal for high handicappers and those trying to stretch their budget.

In the hills behind Pattaya, conveniently located just off the main Pattaya-Rayong motorway, bordered by pineapple and palm plantations lies the upgraded Pattaya Country Club.

An interesting layout with split fairways and some cleverly located bunkers but not too much water to spoil your card.

The front nine are pretty straightforward and it is not until your reach the 9th which is a long uphill par-4 and rated the most difficult on the course that things start to get interesting and could lead to a dropped shot.

The back nine is much more interesting with several water hazards in play. Hole 11 is a particularly interesting and challenging par-5 with several bunkers to negotiate and a stream which crosses in front of the raised green.

They have recently completed a brand new clubhouse with state-of-the-art facilities.

The layout is decent but the condition of the course is not worth the price. They need to lower their price by at least 50 percent until the fairways and greens are in better shape. There is no reward for landing in the fairway. I would have preferred to pay more and play on a nicer course

Happy playing at Pattaya Country Club Golf Resort - Will definitely be back

Great time and enjoyed the what the course had to offer. The course was in great condition considering a few wet spots due to the rain overnight. If anything, maybe a course marshal should be present to assist with pace of play - aware it happens from time to time but groupings in front were 1-2 holes behind and there was no sense of urgency which caused waiting times for the groups behind (we were told the slow groups were betting high stacks between themselves which caused the slow play). Overall, a good day on the course.

Nice golf course in good condition. Friendly staff, especially on the course.

We booked round of golf on a Sunday and unfortunately, my playing partner hurt his back during warm-up. Staff was very Friendly and helpful!

Pleasant golf course in good condition. Fairways not too narrow. Some greens with steep slopes can be challenging. The marshalls could be more involved to regulate the pace of play. Nice proshop with a good choice of clothes. Friendly and helpful staff. Caddies 11, 12 and 13 are good.

Nice course, good condion overall but slow play

Course was overall good, fairways were fairly water logged but not to bad to stop. The biggest issue was the slow play, well over 5 hours for a round due to a group of 5 in front. No effort to let us play through. We .missed the last hole as it was to dark.
