If you are planning to play here make sure that you take enough golf balls, as water comes into play on every single hole.
The first, seemingly is a short par four, but a par here is no guarantee. Water right and left means that, as with the rest of the course accuracy and good course management are of vital importance at Kabinburi.
The par 3s as you may expect are tough. You need to carefully select your club and ensure a clean strike to find the putting surface and a chance of par.
In all honesty, there are no bad holes here, each has its own individual character and challenges.
Some stand out above the rest, with the 13th being one such hole.
For the long hitters, this is a real chance of making the green from the tee, for the shorter hitters it requires accuracy and nerve to avoid a big score.
But any poorly struck or misguided shot will find a watery grave.
15 is another very similar hole, with the longer hitters being tempted by the makeable carry over the plethora of water that runs down the left of the hole before splitting the hole in two.
A superb use of water hazards and the intricate bunker placements could easily cause nightmare-ish scenarios for even the best golfers, but it is this unpredictability that makes this course stand out as one of the must play courses when visiting this region of Thailand.
As you would expect from a world class resort the service and catering options are second to few, meaning that you can really enjoy your time here.
Is it the best course in Thailand, arguably not, but by no means discount this from your list of must visit courses. A truly remarkable experience.
